Geraldine (Geri) Jordan Connelly, 96, of Danville went residence to be with our Lord at Nice Meadows Senior Residing on Dec 23, 2021. Born Dec 4, 1925 in Cherry Valley, the daughter of Clyde A. and Mamie (Brown) Jordan. Geri grew up in Rockville,
Indiana space. She married Timothy W. Connelly on Sept. 22, 1951 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Danville Illinois, that they had a full life collectively to incorporate a son Stephen Jerome Connelly. They had been married 59 years till Tim’s passing in 2010. Being a really social particular person Geri retired from Lakeview Hospital in Danville as a switchboard operator. After retirement she spent her days caring for her grandchildren and lots of others as a volunteer lunchroom attendant at St. Paul’s Catholic college now generally known as Schlarman Academy. Till current years Geri loved making a yearly pilgrimage to see household and associates in Rockville and surrounding areas. Geri loved speaking about her household and seeing all of the sights of Rockville and of her childhood. She loved spending time along with her grandchildren and showering them with items and love. She additionally loved watching the Indiana Hoosiers beat the Illini yearly, extra so when it really occurred. She was a beautiful and loving spouse, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother who might be tremendously missed. She is survived by her son Stephen (Jamie)
Connelly, 10 grandchildren (Cheryl Moore, Amanda Beyers, Amanda Peterson, Zechariah Connelly, Michael Connelly,
Alexander Connelly, Alexander Peterson, Murphy Osborne, Chase Connelly, Ashley Smith), and 24 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in demise by her husband Timothy; 4 brothers Howard, Harold, Clyde and Leo; her twin sister Genevieve McAllister-Bear; and one sister Norma Jean Lovette. Companies might be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Sundown Funeral Dwelling and Cremation Heart positioned at 3940 N. Vermilion St., in Danville. A visitation will happen from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm with a funeral service following at 3:00 pm. She might be laid to relaxation at Resurrection Cemetery.
