Terrill “Terri” Sanchez was named interim government director of the $72.5 billion Pennsylvania Public College Workers’ Retirement System, stated Evelyn Williams, spokeswoman for the Harrisburg-based plan.

Ms. Sanchez replaces Glen R. Grell, who transitioned to a senior adviser position on Jan. 1 and can retire on Feb. 28.

Ms. Sanchez retired as government director of the $39 billion Pennsylvania State Workers’ Retirement System, Harrisburg, on Dec. 31. She was succeeded there by Joseph A. Torta, beforehand that system’s deputy government director and director of member and participant companies.

Earlier than serving as PennSERS’ government director, Ms. Sanchez was deputy government director at PennPSERS.

She is going to serve on this interim position as a 95-day emergency return-to-service annuitant whereas the system searches for a everlasting substitute for Mr. Grell.
